Coach Mike Tomlin tested positive for the coronavirus, sources says
Breaking news to Chrismckradio, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin tested positive for the coronavirus, according to reports. Tomlin tested positive for the coronavirus a week ago.
According to sources, Tomlin is doing fine and is in good spirits.
The Steelers reportedly sent Tomlin's coaching staff and personnel home after learning of more positive tests of the coronavirus from several of his coaches.
Tomlin, 48, will be entering his 15th season as head coach of the Steelers when the upcoming season begins.
Tomlin posted a thank you to all who sent him well wishes on Monday on his social media platform.
" I want to thank everyone who reached out to express their concern for my health. Luckily I have minimal symptoms and I'm thankful to be in good health. I'll be back in the office soon while I continue to work virtually from home. Thanks for your support and well wishes!"
