According to reports, the Department of Justice and NASCAR are probing an incident of a noose being found inside the garage stall of NASCAR star driver Bubba Wallace on Sunday at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
Wallace is reportedly very saddened and says this incident will not break him, he says in a tweet, he will continue to fight for Black Lives Matter movement, and will continue to speak out against racism.
"This will not break me, I will not give in nor will I back down. I will continue to proudly stand for what I believe in," says Wallace.
Wallace is the only African American NASCAR driver in the sport, he has spoken out against the Confederate flag being up during NASCAR events. The Confederate flag has since been ban from being up at NASCAR events, according to sources.
According to reports, the garage stall is restricted from the public to enter, only essential personnel have access to the garage stall. The Department of Justice and NASCAR could be looking into Wallace's staff to see who place the noose there.
