According to sources, defending champion Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard agrees on a 1-year deal to join the Philadelphia 76ers. The deal is worth the veteran minimum deal worth $2.6 million.
Howard, 34, will be the back up center to All-Star center Joel Embiid.
Howard previously signed a 1-year deal to rejoin the Lakers last season. He left the Lakers for Houston in 2013, while the late Kobe Bryant pled with him to stay with the team at the time.
Howard's career numbers are, 16.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game. He could very well become a Hall of Famer one day.
