Boxing champions Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin agree to fight in a super middleweight championship in the fall, according to reports. But the fight could get postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Alvarez is supposed to fight Billy Joe Saunders on May 2 in a super middleweight championship during the Cinco De Mayo weekend but their fight will be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Both fighters must win their upcoming fights to fight each other for the third time. Golovkin is slated to fight Kamil Szeremeta at the Forum in Los Angeles on June 6. According to reports Golovkin fight against Szeremeta could be postponed if the coronavirus pandemic still going on at that time.
