Academy Award winning director Spike Lee who is a huge New York Knicks fan says on an ESPN show he is done watching the Knicks at Madison Square Garden for the rest of the season. He says he will return next season.
According to sources, the Knicks had kicked Lee out of the arena last night during the Knicks 125-123 win over the Houston Rockets. Lee says the owner James Dolan and his management team are harassing him, the Knicks says both of the accusations are false.
According to reports, Spike Lee was seen yelling at security on video on an escalator at last night's game. The Knicks says Lee has violated on various occasions their building policy on entrances. The Knicks says no one other than employees are allowed through the employee entrance. The team says Spike Lee is more than welcome to use the VIP entrance for celebrities or the general public entrance into the building if he wishes.
